Today I am bringing you my January book haul. I got a lot of books this month, I don’t usually get this many but there were sales and I had gift cards from Christmas and a lack of self control so it ended up being what it is now. We got over ten books which is pretty wild for me. I can tell that this is gonna be a long post so let’s get started.
This month I got around to reading five books when is pretty good for me. Most of these are for English Literature even though I want to read more of my own books. I feel like this could be a trend for me so I’m aiming to balance out my reading for university and the books that are just for fun. I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on these books so let’s get started.
Earlier today Bloomsbury released the new cover for Sarah J Maas’ new book A Court of Wings and Ruin. So now that we have both the cover and the name of the book, now seems like the perfect time to start spilling all my crackpot theories for the next book.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. I’ve never taken part in one of these before which is surprising because pretty much everyone in the book blogging community has taken part in at least one of these. This week is a freebie week, so I can pick any topic that I want so I’m going for the top ten books I want to read in 2017.
I know this coming a little late but in my defence it’s still the first month of the year so it still counts. I have compiled a list of books that are being released this year that I am really excited for and can’t wait to get my hands on. This list is in no particular order, just whenever I thought of them I wrote them down.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a review/discussion type post so I’m going to keep this short and sweet to help ease me back in to it.
